Actually, I got some more ideas from them, on filming. Since I do all the filming, pictures while traveling... Soon you'll be able to view some videos and more photos here on the blog! For now here is a map of the Caribbean, see Dominican Republic right in the middle.

And a closer one of the Dominican Republic

Watching these guys travel to amazing places reminded me of my last trip to Dominican Republic. I slept in a different place then I had before. The last night there, I realized what the noises were that I've been hearing previous nights. Rats!!! Yes... The last night they were crawling over the roof and floors. I didn't think they were the curious types. But here they were crawling around making all kinds of ruckus. I decided to stay with my contact lenses on and full clothing, just in case. And surely enough, around 3am, they made their way closer and closer until they were crawling up my bed!!!
Oh no!!!
Of course, needless to say, I didn't stay there. I went to seek shelter somewhere else!
Lately, while we go deeper into villages that are further away, you see less and less of what most of us take for granted. Simple things like, electricity and bathrooms. In the town we work in, we have rivers, but in the last village we visited, there is no river. So I had to shower in a home-made, outdoor bathroom. That basically means: buckets and cups. Some had soap, and some had towel...
