Hi I am Gisela I hope, as you are reading this you are doing well! I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you! As we try to improve little by little, I now have an email with our foundation and a new blog!

I have been living in a wheel chair for more than half of my life. I have had 24 operations on my leg. That runs from my knee to my hip. I was sexually abused many years ago and I believe my story can impact people. That it can touch the lives of children and teenagers also.

At the same time, I'd like to share the wonderful task we have at hand. And give the opportunity to many here in the US , to be a part of our love, serving the needy, the hungry the children. Talking with Jorge and the board, we, Jorge and I are available to visit your companies, your churches, and share my testimony and our mission. We are excited to meet many of you. The great thing about this is, the funds we receive through these invitations, goes to our foundation. Jorge and myself are available to begin speaking engagements around the country. To gain funds, to be able to travel to Dominican Republic and Colombia for the rest of the year from October through January. To give more of our time. Jorge, has already begun, he had an invitation 2 weeks ago in Miami. If you or your church/organization, of if you have areferrall, please contact us asap. Thank you!

My husband, has just left for the army, it's been difficult for me, but, with all this time on my hands, I thought I could do something constructive for our Children's Outreach. To establish partners, for funding of our mission. I believe it's a great time for us to begin to share more indepth, on a personal level, who we are, and the people behind Nazirite Children's Missions for the great cause God has given us to do.

What motivates me is that, from the invitations, it helps us to gain funds for our Children's Mission . It will allow us to stay in the mission field for longer periods of time and not have to return to the US . It will fund our trips, which cost between $300 to 500 just for plane tickets. Our mission is to be a part of these families, not to go and leave, but, to establish relationships. We are proud to say, they feel comfortable, and trust us because of the time and times we go to spend with them. I have not been able to go, because of my condition and the rough conditions in our project in Dominican Republic, I am hopeful though, but, Jorge has on our behalf.

Although, he's the director/founder, he does all the work. All the traveling and all the delivery of your donations. He has traveled since Aug. 2001, returning, August 05, November 05 with our teenage volunteer Stephanie, in April 06 and July 06 taking with him 35 youth and constructing a small school. We don't only want to impact one country. That is why we traveled to Colombia , which the abuse rate is 70%! Jorge stayed in Colombia for 35 days. Taking clothing, speaking at Rehabilitation Centers to x drug addiction men, visiting inmates in Colombia's Maximum Security Prison. Visiting families in the country. Families in Saboya, Chiquinquira, Tuta, & Tunja. We have videos and pictures of all our trips.

For our main project, which is in Dominican Republic, our goal is to build a Children's Center that will feed, clothe and educate them in computers. Something they have never seen before! It will provide a full working kitchen and bathrooms like the ones we have here. They have never seen one eigher.Through purchasing land and cultivating the land, to produce fruits and vegetables. Through acquiring chickens and cows to provide food. This is how they feed themselves. There are no supermarkets, no drug stores. We are just 1 or 2 hours from the Haitian border. That is why, our site is one of worst possible places in this country of Dominican Republic . If you feel, your church, or organization would like to invite us, please respond to this email.

Our schedule is open, clear, awaiting your call! To read more about our organization, visit us at http://www.nchild.org/

Thank you! Gisela Vargas & the team @ Nazirite Children's Missions.

Our first group trip to our project in Dominican Republic was great!
They painted happy faces on children's hands, made bracelets. The singer of the musical group, Contagious, sang to the children. All the town united, over 500 in all! That is our main mission friends. To make relationships with these families. At times, I have to eat and drink stuff that scares me, but the poor are very sensitive people.

When I first began these missionstrips in 2001, I thought I was blessed, and they weren't . But after returning so many times lately, I can see that its the other way around. The love, the attention, the smiles, the warmth we all receive from them is amazing! The 35 youth had a great time. They all showered together in the river. They took extra money to bless the citizens. And so, I took them to the school I had visited in April which was falling apart. It was scary to even walk in it. But this group donated the new school and in 3 days the old one was demolished and the new one was up and running!

One thing I learned, as a non profit foundation, we didn't want our heart to become selfish, thinking and only giving to our project in the Dominican Republic. So we decided to visit other countries and help other children, of other cultures. The doors to Colombia opened. A country were 70% of the children are abused emotionally, and physically. We gave 35 days to this country, to its families and children. We got to see a 17 year old beaten up by her uncle. It was one of our most difficult trips, as well as rewarding.

We returned July 2nd, and July 3rd we headed off to our project in D.R. The way we see it, because we gave somewhere else, we received so much in our project. I encourage you today, the saying is true, "its better to give then to receive" help us, by sponsoring our mission trips. Airline tickets, transportation, meals in the mission field. We have close to 300lbs of clothing, but, can't do more then trip bi monthly. Hope you consider helping us monthly.

Thank you for visiting!
