Pastor Jay and Jorge helping to make coffee in the town we work in "La Tinaja" Dominican Republic.

This town doesn't even appear on the map!

How they make coffee

Thanks Jorge for taking the photos!! Wow, I love coffee but I can't imagine having to do all that! I just go downstairs to the store and the hardest thing is picking out which blend to buy....

Her name is Maribel, she lives in Cicuco, Colombia.

The reason she is chained by her ankle all the time is because of poverty. Her mom doesn't have money to take her to a psychiatric hospital.
During the 10 days that we were here, I visited Maribel and her mom every evening... Her mom embraced me one evening and told me "I heard someone from the states was coming, I can't believe you are here. Thank you so much" She cried in my arms thanking me.
I want to thank you. Those of you who have helped us financially to reach people like this. Its hard for me personally some times. Because I desire to be out there in the missions field. Giving hope to people like Maribel.

What a $100 can do...

There are 3 children that are almost completely blind in the village where we work in the Dominican Republic. They have never been to see a doctor because their parents don't have the money for it nor a car to transport them there an hour ride over dirt roads.

With just a $100 of donated money we were able to schedule all three kids for an appointment with the doctor and organize transportation for them.

Please keep these kids Yanedi, Griselda and little Manuela in your prayers as they travel for the very first time to the hospital this month to have their eyes checked out.

Thank you all!!

*We need your support to be able to take care of other kids with needs in the village, please visit our website to see donation options.
