I will be traveling to our precious project in Dominican Republic on the 19th of April...

Spirit Air had an amazing special! Only 74 one way and 8 dollars for the return... of course, international flights add large int´l tax rates, but anyway we are happy to have found a great price like this.

And very exciting news! We are invited to speak at a local TV Station on behalf of the children we work with in Juan Santiago, Domiincan Republic. Then, I will head out to our project to paint the home we built in nov 06´and to fence our land preparing it for the construction. (See the pictures from previous trip here.)

We know that we are very close, God has been faithful. I will be there until may 6th. Please keep us in your prayers... :)

And Thank you!! Thank you for just being here with us... for your support and encouragement!

Friends!! How are you??

Just a brief hello and brief story of some things that went on in Colombia..

I arrived there on March 19 and leaving tomorrow April 5th. A very fast trip... tooo short!

I arrived in Bogota, and stayed at a home which cost about 20,000 pesos per night, its a missionary home, that´s about 12. dollars..

I went on bus to Tunja, which is 1 hr half. I met with a group of 3 and we left to Cicuco, Colombia, which is a 15 hour bus trip in Colombia! You can imagine how bumpy it was.

We arrived and the whole town was awaiting our arrival! What makes our trips so special, is that we go to places that are hard to get to. We want to reach those that don´t get many visits. To them, to receive an American is a reason for celebration.

I´m happy to say, that we were able to paint an orphanage in this town. To pray with others that so desperately needed prayer. As you can see in the picture. Maribel is chained to the wall, because of how violent she is. It did cause my little hairs in my arm to rise. But we showed her love. The children, well, this country's abuse rate for children is 10 times higher then any other country in Latin America.

Keep them in your prayers!
