Hello friends!!

We are back! And wanted to update you on our missions trip. We arrived Sunday evening. Words cannot express how great God was with us. Too much to mention. Once again, the citizens, the poor left us speechless with their kindness. Thank you to Fellowship of the Holy Spirit in Califorina for their support, for their generosity. Without them we could not make most of our trips and donate clothing.

Thank you to our staff, Andres abd Martha for their support while I'm away. In getting our 2nd group ready. Thanks to Alla for donating a new tv from target for one of the families. Second to those that went with us and made such a huge effort in paying our way and donating their time and hard earn money. Thank you also to Pastor Chris and Ekklesia Miami for sponsoring our trip, Kevin, Franco, Milton and Martha. Also to Dr. Daisy who lives in Santo Dominigo and who escorted us to our project.
We had 2 groups. The 1st we left last Sunday. The 2nd arrived on Friday. So we made two exhausting trips to our project from the capital (Santo Domingo). We were blessed to have transportation (Honda CRV) to travel to our project site. A local family lend us the vehicle!! When they heard of what we do for their country, they wanted to help. And thus gave us one of their vehicles. For our 2nd trip which was Friday, Kevin blessed us with a rented mini van. ($90. a day! very expensive) We are praying for a donated mini van in Dominican Republic or one we can ship to D.R. We already have a person who works in exporting cars to D.R.

We had so many bags of clothes, that we couldn't have done it without these 2 unexpected blessings! Thus, our trip had minimal expenses. Elimitating more expenses, we were able to stay in our project site with our tent. One of the pictures, you'll see that we took a tent to our donated land. It is here were we plan to build a small cabin or shack for us to stay in and have more visitors. It will measure about 20 feet by 12 feet approx. Made of wood. We are trying to finalize the documentation to be able to build this small home for us, for you to visit and for missionaries to visit and stay.
As we began to build the tent, many children and adults came. Laughing, joking, saying things like "Its prettier then our home" they clapped when they saw we raised a home in 15 minutes... It was a memorable moment as they had never seen a tent before! It really touched my heart... What I personally loved the best is this, they were touched to see us live like them. Staying with them, not just going and dropping off gifts, but living among them.

As many of you know, what sets us apart is that the director, Jorge, actually does all the trips and plans all of the trips to bring awareness of the poverty of these children and children worldwide. We are a hands-on foundation. We are working hard to gain funds for our Colombia trip. Which is a 2 months project. (http://www.nchild.org/childrenincolombia.htm)

The vision of Colombia is to have a soccer field, and an orphanage. To bring children from 1 to 10 to live from all over the country. In our May - July trip of this year we met professional soccer players. I had no idea there was a meaningful purpose behind this. By the way, I will be returning in 2 weeks to Dominican Republic. A local church needs bibles. Thus out of 50, only 1 had a bible and out of those 50 only 15% can read. We are looking for donors, partners to donate cd players with rechargeble batteries.

If you are able to sponsor our D.R. trip in 2 weeks, you can donate online http://www.nchild.org/donation.htm

Until soon!!

Buenos dias!!

A la iglesia de California Fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

We would love to hear from you... To hear what you think, your comments, because this really motivates us. We hope you can take the time and write. We don't hear from 90% of you, so we hope you can write us a little something this time... :)

Hello Friends!

Just a brief note of our upcoming trip, Oct. 3rd through the 8th, to Dominican Republic. Please keep us in your prayers. We will be taking 2 small groups. Among them a pastor. As you know, the need in what we do never ends. There's always a need. We will be taking an oversized tent to stay on the property that was donated to us, thus saving even more on expenses.

Dr. Daisy who lives in D.R. will be receiving us at the airport. She has found locals to lend us bathrooms while we stay these 5 days. We have tons of clothes, and I can't wait to see their faces!! I'll be sure to take pictures and videos.

Also, we have updated the web site. So far, we have also now added a page for Colombia's children. A trip that we are looking for partners to fund. www.nchild.org/childrenincolombia.htm

Our trip scheduled for Colombia is at the end of October, for 2 months.

Updates to follow!!
